Southend Estuary Scout District has fifteen groups for boys and girls aged 6 to 13 and six units for boys and girls aged 14 to 17 in Southend (East of Hobleythick Lane), Shoeburyness, Barling and Great Wakering.

A fun run with lots of mud involved – It’s tough, it’s challenging and it’s sure to be muddy. 1K, 3K and 5K courses. Collect sponsors for your favourite charity or just come for fun. Bouncy castle activities running alongside the fun run:

Open to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Guides, leaders and family members, the general public.
Race Entry £5 per person, Activity Wristband £5 per person
Scout Nights Away Permit required / Guiding Licence required if camping overnight—normal camp fees apply. No overnight camping for the general public.
An Easter egg hunt around the campsite. A real chocolate egg upon completion. Picnic space available for you to use afterwards.

Competitions in archery, fencing and rifle shooting with a wide range of other fun activities running throughout the day to keep you busy in between competitions.
